Daniel Stasko, Assistant Professor of Natural and Applied Sciences
University of Wyoming, Ph.D.
Professor Stasko offers courses in general chemistry and introductory organic and biochemistry. He also teaches chemistry for allied health fields (ie. nursing chemistry), as well as science classes for nonscience majors.
Research Interests
His research interests are in the chemistry and properties of new materials, particularly ion conductors such as those found in fuelcells. He also has research projects related to developing methods of shifting science courses into an online setting using pencasts or other forms of multimedia. An extension of this is examining science literacy and student exposure to science in nonscience classes (such as history).
USM LAC Orientation
Orientation is a very important first step for accepted students to prepare for their first semester on campus. We encourage all accepted students to come to orientation and get ready to embark upon a great undergraduate experience at USM!
