The Technology Assistance Program was established in October, 2002.

One purpose of the program is to employ student talent to assist with the implementation of technology in the academic environment.

A second purpose is to offer practical, hands on experience to students in the program under the guidance of a mentor so that it is a productive experience for both the University and the students.
