Opportunities in Instructional Technology and Media Services |
ITMS supports classroom-installed equipment and delivers audiovisual equipment for use on campus.
Work-study positions vary with campus and work area within the department.
Below are some of the positions available and their descriptions.
Gorham
and Portland Campuses:
Front desk
assistants:
. Answer phones and greet walk-ins
. Schedule classroom equipment |

Technical assistants:
. Deliver/pick up equipment to/from classrooms
. Help instructors use equipment
. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on equipment
Assistants are needed between 7 am and 10 pm

Production
assistants:
. Digitize and process electronic slides
. Dry mount / laminate signs and poster presentations
. Scan materials for instructors |

If you have particular knowledge or talents
in the area of web-design, presentation software such as PowerPoint, or
if you are experienced in the use of: Microsoft Access, Adobe Acrobat, Macromedia Flash,
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Macromedia Fireworks, or Macromedia Dreamweaver, you may
be interested in a Technology Assistantship position where you would assist
faculty and staff with assigned technology projects.
