Transferring Out

As much as we love having you here at USM we realize that students sometimes transfer out to other Universities or Colleges for various reasons. If you are beginning this process the information below will help get you started.

Step 1: Please read the USM International Programs Transfer Out instruction sheet on how to transfer from USM to another school in the US.

Step 2: You will need to complete a "Transfer Out Form."  A portion of this form must also be completed by the school you are transferring TO.

Step 3: Bring the completed transfer form and a copy of your admission letter from the new school to the International Programs office to discuss the process and clarify your transfer out date.
