National Student Exchange


Where Can YOU GO on National Student
Exchange??

National Student Exchange allows students the opportunity to study, as an undergraduate, for up to one year at 190 colleges and universities throughout the US and Canada.

   NATIONAL STUDENT EXCHANGE : Links to member schools

Now is the time to begin planning for the 2007-08 Academic Year.

The deadline for Fall 2006 placement has passed. A few slots for Spring 2007 are still open but final placement deadlines are early October and many schools are now closed for Spring '07.
We suggest that students begin planning at least one year in advance.

Degree candidates are encouraged to include a period of study away in their academic career. Through  the many partner universities and consortia, students can enrich their academic programs and life experiences.  In every case, students must  complete the USM application to study away, and may also need to apply directly to the program of choice.


National Student Exchange also includes two schools in Hawaii
(popular with Maine students):

      your convenience However, we recommend that you meet with a National Exchange Advisor
      before beginning the process.
