The USM Identity: University Colors

The official colors of the University are USM blue, USM gold, and white.

The specification of the colors follows.

USM Blue
For coated paper stock: PMS 287
For uncoated paper stock: reflex blue

To build USM blue using the 4-color process, the formula is:

K: 12

The Web hexadecimal color numbers are

USM Gold
For coated paper stock: PMS 130
For uncoated paper stock: PMS 129

red	green	blue

If the logotype appears in one color, whenever possible that color should be either USM blue or black. In the case of a 1- or 2-color printed piece that does not offer an option of black or USM blue, it should be printed in the most dominant color that is printed.

If the logo is being used for electronic publications, such as the Web or PowerPoint presentations, the logo should be used in its original blue, gold, and white rendition whenever possible.
