James Myall is Coordinator of the Franco-American Collection at USM LAC. He holds an M.A. in Ancient History and Archaeology from the University of St Andrews (UK), with a specialty in Ancient Roman archaeology. His Master's Dissertaion was entitled Archaeological Evidence for the Presence of Graeco-Roman Peoples in Ancient India.
James is an instructor for the Lewiston Auburn Common Core courses LCC 220 - Sustaining Democracy and LCC 320 - Developing Democracy.
James was born and raised in the UK, and has lived in Maine since 2009. He lives in Bath with his wife Maggie-Kate.
Research Interests
Ancient Greek and Roman history; Immigration; Colonial North America; Franco-American Heritage and Culture.
