Campus Interpersonal Violence Safety Program (CIVSP) Coordinator #9551

UMPSA represented professional position
The Campus Interpersonal Violence Safety Program (CIVSP) Coordinator, through a U.S. Department of Justice Grant to address sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking, will work to create a safe campus environment by reducing the occurrence of sexual assaults/intimate partner violence while enhancing community responsibility for addressing violence against women through an integrated, collaborative approach. This project aims to establish coordination between the various programs on campus, to review and/or create consistent reporting protocols, to establish a campus interpersonal violence committee that includes the student conduct committee, to improve and increase student awareness of available resources, to increase access to community based victim services through referrals to counseling and advocacy, including outreach and referral, and to implement ongoing prevention education and training for campus law enforcement, staff, faculty, and incoming students.
Qualifications Required: A minimum of a B.A. or three years full-time professional experience in primary prevention services and/or a university setting. Experience with sexual assault/intimate partner violence victim (SA/IPV) services. Preferred: Professional training and/or experience with law enforcement agencies is considered an asset.
