while in residency in Vermont by concentrating elective

in college health as, "challenging, fulfilling, and
incredibly rewarding. I particularly enjoy the
opportunities for wellness and preventive health education
and the potential to really make a difference in a student's
life.”
Dr. Hayes serves as a consultant for
both the Gorham and the Portland Health and Counseling Centers
and maintains an adjunct faculty position in the Department of
Family Medicine at Maine Medical Center. Her responsibilities
include medical student and resident education, supervising the

local elementary schools and has been involved in a National
Institute of Health grant to explore Complementary and
Alternative Medicine.
