University Health and Counseling Services

Rosemary Johnson is an Adult Nurse Practitioner who received her Bachelors in Nursing from McGill University, her Masters as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from the University of Rochester, and her PhD in Nursing from the University of Colorado. She is an Associate Professor in the College of Nursing since 1987 and has worked one day a week at University Health Services since 1994; the last three years in Gorham. Her practice background includes positions in internal medicine, STD clinics, family planning, along with group work in a wellness clinic and grief education counseling. Her interest and research areas include health related behaviors, prevention and health promotion, and provider-patient communication.
