Alexandria Digital Library Project: Based in the University of California, Santa Barbara, it houses collections of geographically referenced materials and resources for those accessing the materials.

BSRSI at Michigan State Uni: The Basic Science and Remote Sensing Initiative is a research program in the department of geography focused on global changes. The goal is to develop an interdisciplinary approach to understanding global change, at both regional and global scales, through the integration of both physical and social sciences.
