ADC WorldMap: American Digital Cartography, Inc provides detailed digital atlases.

ARCUS: Arctic Research Consortium of the United States is a non-profit corporation with arctic related educational, professional, and scientific purposes. It's a huge resource for GIS and other arctic data.

Bathymetry of the World: Allows the user to query the variable resolution gridded Bathymetry Database.

Census 2000 Tiger/Line Data: Geography data.

Census Watch: A web portal to serve the national and global community of users interested in Census matters.

Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies: A guide to mostly online and mostly free US Geospatial and Attribute Data.

Digital Tectonic Activity Map: The DTAM is a GIS that displays a realistic synoptic view of present global tectonism by filling in the cartographic gap between conventional geological maps and plate reconstruction maps.

ESRI: GIS and mapping software company that provides data, education, products, and support.

Geography Network: Geographic data and services on the web.

Geoplace: The authoritative resource on the net for spatial information.

GIS Data Depot: Free GIS data on the web.

Maine GIS Data: Housed by the Maine Office of GIS, this site offers data for Maine towns, counties, watersheds, tiles, and for the entire state.

MODIS Land Image Gallery: A picture gallery of terrestrial images on the web.

National Geophysical Data Center: Part of the NOAA's National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service, the NGDC provides info on bathymetry/topography, ecosystems, geomagnetism, hazards, land geophysics, marine geology & geophysics, satellites, snow & ice, solar & upper atmosphere, and space weather.

National Geospatial Data Clearinghouse: The GDC is a collection of over 250 spatial data servers that have digital geographic data primarily for use in GIS, image processing systems, and other modeling software.

National Hydrography Dataset: This dataset contains surface water features.  It was created from USGS Digital Line Graph (DLG) hydrography data and reach-related information from the EPA Reach File Version 3 (RF3).  This dataset supersedes DLG and RF3.

Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA): The Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) is a non-profit association of professionals using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other information technologies to solve challenges in all state and local government agencies and departments.
