Minor in Anthropology

  To receive a minor in anthropology, students must take at least 19 credits of anthropology courses. Of those 19 credits, students are required to take ANT 101J (Anthropology: The Cultural View-3 credits), ANT 102K (Biological Anthropology and Lab-4 credits), ANT 103 (Introduction to Archaeology-3 credits), and ANT 310 (History of Anthropological Thought-3 credits). Students must also take any 2 courses for 6 credits total from 2 different subfields of anthropology, ie, cultural anthropology, archaeology, and biological anthropology. Any extra credits beyond these required 19 will go towards general elective credits.
