Visiting Artist Ahmed Alsoudani

Alsoudani fled to the United States as an Iraqi
political refugee and arrived in Portland, Maine
over fifteen years ago. He later graduated from Maine College of Art and Yale School of Art. His paintings, beautifully conveying the horrors of war, are now collected around the world. Alsoudani is a leading artist represented by the prestigious Haunch of Venison gallery in London and New York City.
