Oral Histories

The Franco-American Collection has a wide varietty of oral history interviews conducted with members of the local community, prominent or otherwise, between the 1970s and the present day. Originally recorded on cassette, these interviews have recently been digitized for the first time. Wherever possible, transcripts are also made avaliable for your convenience.
Subjects of the interviews range from childhood to issues of national importance.
Please Note: These oral histories are provided for research and eduacational purposes. No copies of the recordings or transcript can be made and nothing may be used from them in any published form without the written permission of the Franco-American Collection.
