French Sing-Along at Schooner Estates
On February 22, the group of community volunteers who lead USM Franco-American Collection's monthly sing-along - also known as Les Troubadours - will be taking their joie de vivre on the road to Schooner Estates, at 200 Stetson Road in Auburn.
Join them for an hour of lively French-Canadian music starting at 2pm. Songbooks will be provided. The event is free and open to the public, although residents of Schooner Estates will receive priority for the limited seating.
As a special treat, Mary Leclerc (pictured) will be offering a performance of the Acadian folk ballad, Evangéline.
Tours of Schooner estates will be available to anyone interested after the event.
