Franco Collection featured in University of Maine's 'Making a Difference'
The Collection's new online exhibit, From French Canadians to Franco-Americans, was featured in August's edition of Making a Difference, the monthly newsletter of the University of Maine System.
The Collection's exhibit appeared alongside news of a UMaine patent to improve the strength of fencing and decking; UM Fort Kent research into white deer population; an online learning initiative at UM Presque Isle, and much more.
Making a Difference features recent stories as to how Maine's seven public universities contribute to the state's educational, cultural, and economic well-being. The publication is distributed to legislators, guidance counselors, members of our University Advocacy Network, media, university employees, and others.
