Programs
The University of Southern Maine Department of Engineering offers two degree programs:
Students with an interest in computers can opt for a concentration in computer engineering within the electrical engineering baccalaureate. A subset of electrical engineering courses can be taken to complete a minor in electrical engineering. The department also offers the first year or two of other engineering disciplines as part of the transfer engineering program.
Admission Requirements and Application
Preparation for an undergraduate engineering program should include high school English, chemistry, physics, and mathematics including algebra and trigonometry. Courses are available at the University of Southern Maine for those students needing to make up prerequisites.
