Heat Transfer
Course Description: Study of fundamental laws of heat transfer by conduction, convection, and radiation. Steady heat conduction, thermal circuit modeling, fins, transient heat conduction, forced convection, natural convection, radiation heat transfer, heat exchanger, boiling and condensation, and numerical methods in heat transfer. Includes numerical solution and simulation, and a hands-on project.
Curriculum: Mechanical engineering elective
Prerequisites: MEE 360
