Mechanical Engineering Student Featured in Biofuels Article

Matt Pemberton, a senior in USM's Mechanical Engineering program, is chief operating office for Maine Standard Biofeuls. The company, based in Portland, is collects used vegetable oil from restaurants all around New England and turns it into clean burning biodiesel and biodegradable soap.
Pemberton and Maine Standard Biofeuls, Maine's only commercial biodiesel plant, were featured in a Portland Press Herald article regarding a tax incentive meant to boost production of biofeuls this year.
