SHELTON WALDREP writes on Victorian, modernist, and
contemporary culture and theory. Among other places, his
work has appeared in Pre/Text, South Atlantic Quarterly,
and Studies in the Literary Imagination. He is a co-author
of Inside the Mouse: Work and Play at Disney World
(Duke, 1995; Rivers Oram, 1996) and the editor of The
Seventies: The Age of Glitter in Popular Culture
(Routledge, 2000). An Assistant Professor of
English at the University of Southern Maine, he is currently
finishing a book on Oscar Wilde and twentieth-century
writing and performance.
