TLC Summer 2005

As you know, TLC has been placed on hold as we attempt to retool and reshape the program--a process that has yet to reach a conclusion. In an effort to allow those of you who have been accepted into the program to complete it, the English Department would like to make the following courses available to you this summer:

I.  TLC Topics

TLC Topics will be taught as a part of Prof. F. C. McGrath's Irish Literature and Culture class on:

Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00-6:40 pm

from May 16 until July 1.

The TLC registration number is P1444.

II.  TLC Topics II

TLC Topics II will be taught by Prof. Shelton Waldrep as a part of a class on Late-Victorian Literature and Culture on:

Monday and Wednesday from 4:00-6:40 pm

from July 5 until August 19.

The TLC registration number is P2103.

We also hope to offer a TLC Colloquium as part of a day-long discussion of theory that is a part of the USM Stonecoast MFA summer residency. Prof. Bjelic will be the guest lecturer. The tentative date for that seminar is Saturday, July 9 at the USM StoneHouse in Freeport . Details on this option--along with registration information--are forthcoming.

For more information, please contact the English department co-chairs, Profs. Kuenz and McGrath, or Prof. Shelton Waldrep, the former director, at waldrep@maine.edu . Thank you for your patience, and we hope that you will be able to participate this summer.
