Misson Statement

Multicultural Student Affairs, of the Office of Campus Diversity and Equity, is dedicated to increasing the awareness and appreciation of the many diverse cultures and ethnicities at USM through programming, dialogue, and cultural events.It engages Multicultural (African/African American, Latino/a, Asian/Asian American, Native American, and more!) student development and academic support in achievement of career and perceived goals. The office is also home of the North American Indian Tuition Waiver-Scholarship Program, Culture Beat, Student Associations and the Multicultural Center.
