Joseph (Jody) H. Capelluti

Jody Capelluti is a Professor of Educational Leadership whose current teaching responsibilities include Organizational Behavior, Seminar in School Management and the Administrative Internships. Prior to coming to USM he held a number of positions including teacher, Principal of a National School of Excellence, Director of Special Services, Director of Curriculum, Director of Alternative Programs, and Planning Associate at the Department of Education.

As a scholar he has co-authored four books and written approximately fifty articles and chapters in the areas of middle level education, school change and principal leadership. He is a consultant to schools in the areas of staff assessment and evaluation, organizational development, principal mentoring and school change initiatives. He currently works as a coach to administrators in schools that have been identified as low performing.
