EAST Resources
NSF/RDE Collaborative Dissemination
The RDE Collaborative Dissemination project supports a community of representatives of projects (including EAST) funded by the Research in Disabilities Education (RDE) program of the National Science Foundation. It is directed by the DO-IT Center at the University of Washington.
Working together, the collaborative is developing print, video, and web content to share best practices for increasing the successful participation of people with disabilities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
This project serves to increase awareness of how people with disabilities can be successful in STEM, improve the availability of strategies and resources for making STEM accessible to people with disabilities, and increase collaboration between RDE-funded projects. The ultimate goal of project efforts is to broaden the participation in STEM fields and improve these fields with the talents and perspectives of individuals with disabilities.
