EAST conducts highly successful Summer Research Institutes for High School Students

Eighteen high school students and eight teachers participated in four intensive EAST Summer Research Institutes in June. Institutes included Biology-Hornworms and Hormones, conducted by Dr. Dave Champlin; Engineering-Bioplastics and Polymers, conducted by Dr. Jim Masi; Neurobiology-Growing and Poisoning the Nervous System, conducted by Dr. Doug Currie; and Psychology-Procedural Memory, conducted by Dr. Amy Eppolito.
