Masters Program in Literacy Education
Available at
University College in Bath/Brunswick
This degree provides
teachers with a thorough understanding
of reading
and writing processes and instruction. The purpose of
the
program is to enable
students to design and implement appropriate
up-to-date
instruction in reading and
writing at all levels. Participants
acquire the knowledge
and skills necessary to
become effective
advocates for improving literacy
instruction in their school. The
36
credit hour program is designed for classroom teachers,
administrators, and
other experienced educators.
