USM STRIVE U Mentor Program

 Meet the Mentors Night Spring 2012 

The mission of a USM STRIVE U mentor is to assist STRIVE U students in recognizing their independent potential; to cultivate peer to peer relationships and to integrate STRIVE U students into University life. In addition, mentors will coach STRIVE U students in healthy choices, prepare them for real world expectations and assist them in reaching their educational goals. Mentors will be proactive, understanding, open-minded, and responsible.

USM STRIVE U Mentors work actively with STRIVE U students with all aspects of the STRIVE U curriculum. Mentors are USM students who can help STRIVE U students with transition and growth within the University by being proactive, understanding, open-minded, and responsible. Mentors support STRIVE U students with studying, the fitness element and co-curricular opportunities. Mentors help integrate STRIVE U students into the USM Community.
