About the Division of Advising and Academic Resources
The Division’s principal goals include:
- To facilitate the enhancement of the student academic experience
- To provide support for student cognitive and psychosocial development,
learning, and academic success
- To serve as a bridge between academic affairs and student affairs throughout
the University
- To be recognized as the campus experts in the functional areas of the
Division
- To support the Division’s goals through connections with the external
community
To achieve these goals, the Division has identified the following objectives:
- To develop programs and services designed to enhance the credibility
and visibility of the Division
- To serve as the “voice” of the student academic experience
- To support the academic and developmental needs of students to enhance
the student experience
- To develop a strong collaborative relationship with Academic Affairs
and University and Student Life
- To develop collaborative relationships with the greater (external) community
