CTEL Grants

CTEL offers several grant programs to support online teaching and learning at USM.

Course Design and Re-Design Grants

$2,000 and $500 respectively. These grants are available for the design of online classes in fully online programs and the new USM core.

Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Grants

Up to $1,500 per person, per academic year is available for faculty to obtain new hardware or software to support student learning. Faculty teaching classes in face-to-face, blended, and online formats are encouraged to apply. 

Emerging Technology Grants (ETG)

Up to $10,000 is available for groups of faculty to implement an emerging technology in their classes.

Faculty Ambassadors (FAs)

Faculty Ambassadors explore technology with faculty across all three campuses, share a faculty perspective on eLearning, and support CTEL initiatives.
