An Exciting Educational Opportunity
High school and college students with a passion for science and conservation are welcome to join us to learn how to address these looming issues. For more information, click here.
To register, contact Patrick Keenan at patrick.keenan@briloon.org.
Dr. Lovejoy will facilitate a discussion and workshop centered on his Looming Questions for Conservation in the 21st Century. He will share his perspectives as a leading national and international science policy advisor and interpreter of science. The afternoon session will feature a candid discussion of conservation issues.
Students will be challenged to think critically about how to address these issues within the modern tensions of economic development, human welfare, technological advancement, and public policy. Of course, at the heart of the discussion will be the role of science and scientific inquiry in this process.
