NATIVE AMERICAN:

Native American Resouces: This website offers a wealth of information for native Americans.  Some of these offerings include a calendar of events (yes Maine is included), job listings, news, message boards, organizations, relief options. 

American Indian Scholarship Fund: Provides financial assistance to students who are in need of help.

Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science: The mission of SACNAS is to encourage Chicano/Latino and Native American students to pursue graduate education and obtain the advanced degrees necessary for research careers and science teaching professions at all levels.  

AFRICAN AMERICAN:

 

The Top 50 Diversity Employers 2002

Black Collegian.com: Provides cutting-edge information on career resources for black collegians.  Job search strategies, graduate school opportunities, career and industry reports.

NAAP.org: Strives to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of minority group citizens of the United States.

Black Excel: Helps young people and their parents all across the country to navigate the difficult college admission process. We have tried to make the way easy and accessible. As a result, we are happy to say that we have helped hundreds of African Americans get into college who might otherwise not have done so.

Black Career Woman: Networking and support organization addressing the contemporary issues and concerns of career-oriented black women.

Black Issues.com: The nation's only news magazine dedicated exclusively to minority issues in higher education.

Black Voices.com: Black voices a black web site, a place where you can look for jobs and can post your resume for employers to look at. You can also read news, chat, read about entertainment and go to the mall.

Hispanic Today: The career & education resource for Hispanics.

Hispanic Career World: Hispanic Career World Magazine is the recruitment link between students and professionals who are Hispanic and the major corporations that seek to hire them. Each edition includes career-guidance columns, news and trends, and feature articles that profile Hispanics in all fields.
