INTERPRETER/TRANSLATOR

Translates both spoken words and written texts to French from another language (presumably English).

Educational Requirements

A bachelor's degree in French will give you access to the foreign markets, however, in Maine many employers look for French fluency in addition to other marketable skills.

Educational requirements may include simply a bachelor's degree if you are teaching part time, in elementary schools or in evening adult education courses, for instance. However, to become a full time teacher in a high school requires a master's degree in education.
