PRECISON PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Ensure that workers, equipment, and materials are used properly and efficiently to maximize productivity. They are often responsible for very expensive and complex equipment or systems. They make sure machinery is set up correctly and schedule or perform repairs and maintenance work. They also create work schedules, keep production and employee records, monitor employees and ensure that work is done correctly and on time. Supervisors also train new workers and ensure the existence of a safe working environment.

Educational Requirements

In high technology industries, such as aerospace and electronics, employers typically require a bachelor's degree or technical school training. Employers in the manufacturing sector generally prefer a back ground in engineering, mathematics, science, business administration, or industrial relations.

Environmental Monitoring Technician -
Technical, training and managerial support for the laboratory safety, chemical hygiene, hazardous materials and environmental compliance programs; occupational monitoring for exposure to hazardous materials, in-lab process monitoring and evaluation for hazardous contaminants, environmental bulk sampling and monitoring and oversight of hazardous chemical storage.
Qualifications: Minimum Associates degree in biological/physical sciences with college level chemistry coursework and safety or environmental-related lab experience. BS in environmental sciences or industrial hygiene preferred. Applicants must be willing to wear all types of personal protective equipment, act as a responder to chemical spills/emergencies, and work with hazardous materials (e.g. asbestos, lead, etc.).

Commodity/Materials Manager -
Create supplier alliance and negotiate supplier contractual agreements for environment; objectives include providing material flow to the production departments to ensure optimum productivity and timely customers deliveries; development of operating budgets pertaining to inventory and material purchases.
Qualifications:Experience in all aspects of material management with progressively more responsibility; experience with state-of-the-art computer based materials management systems, visual factory pull and kanbans is a plus; technical background in manufacturing engineering, total quality management, materials management experience with strength in casting or metals commodities and an MBA or CPM is preferred.

Product Manager Pneumatics
Outline of product specifications, recommendations of product pricing strategies through maintenance of up-to-date competitive product and price comparisons, maximizing sales and profitability : insure production catalogs ad promotional items while providing educational materials for Sales Managers and distribution
Qualifications: BS in Engineering or equivalent work experience with 5-7 years of related product management with some supervisory background; broad knowledge of pneumatic engineering.
