All USM Corporate Partners Breakfasts are held on the first Wednesday of the month in the Dining Room of the Woodbury Campus Center, Bedford Street, Portland campus, unless otherwise specified.

Captain Rick Hauck retired in April, 2005, as President and Chief Executive Officer of global space insurers, AXA Space, after a 43 year career in military aviation, civil and commercial space. His last military assignment was Director of Navy Space Systems in the Pentagon. During his 11 years as a NASA astronaut, he flew on three space shuttle missions, the last as commander of DISCOVERY for the first space shuttle mission after the CHALLENGER tragedy. Mr. Hauck received a B.S. in Physics from Tufts University and a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from M.I.T. He is a Fellow of the Society of Experimental Test Pilots, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the American Astronautical Society. He is an inductee into the Astronaut Hall of Fame, a member of the board of the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, and a National Associate of the National Academies. Mr. Hauck was awarded two Defense Distinguished Service Medals, the NASA Distinguished Service Medal, and the Distinguished Flying Cross. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the US Space Foundation and the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, and is a member of the NASA and Institute of Nuclear Power Operations advisory councils.
