Pre-Intership Health Requirements

Students enrolled in REC 295/495, must submit the following PRIOR to the start of
the clinical course.

• Please submit a copy of your Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) directly to your instructor.
  
  CPR courses are offered by the American Heart Association and American Red Cross . You may also take the CPR course in REC 216. 
  
  

Please submit documentation to:

• Two PPD/ Purified Protein Derivative tests (intradermal injection) administered two weeks apart. A chest x-ray is acceptable if you have had a positive PPD in the past or if contraindicated. If you have annual PPDs please submit your two most recent.
  
  
• Proof of current health insurance coverage. A copy of your card is acceptable.
