Nursing Learning Resource and Simulation Center
The LRSC offers a variety of resources used to enhance student's independent learning by providing access to computers, audiovisual materials and practice labs for clinical skills. The LRSC in the College of Nursing and Health Professions is available to all nursing students, faculty and staff. The main office, computer lab and bed lab are all located on the first floor of Masterton Hall (rooms 107, 106 & 105). The assessment lab is located on the second floor (204/206) and on the third floor we have a classroom set up seminar style that can seat up to 20 people (303).
Also, the School of Nursing has designed a new state of the art Simulation Center on the basement level of Masterton in room G-6. This new Simulation Center houses our human patient simulators (HPS) SimMan and our newly acquired SimBaby.
The LRSC is the “home” of many resources. We have 5 networked computers, a state of the art bed lab and assessment lab and many supplies, manikins, multimedia software, simulation models and videos all of which can help you learn all that you can about nursing and the delivery of health care to all.
