Student Home Page Terms and Conditions

If you are a University of Southern Maine student and have a University email account (maine.edu, portland.maine.edu, maine.maine.edu, or mail.caps.maine.edu) you can create and upload your home page on this server.

The following restrictions, terms, and conditions apply to using this service (in addition to other University policies):

1. Do not represent your pages or use you pages for personal financial gain as per the University system's policies for resource use.
2. Do not represent your pages as official University documents in any way, this includes not using official University logos or trademarks on your pages.
3. Do not post or use copyright material without express written permission from the copyright holder.
4. This facility is intended to provide students a learning experience and space for academic work.
5. You are limited to 1MB of space for all your images, documents, and files.
6. Pages will be valid and available for currently registered students only.
7. We reserve the right to remove pages at any time if we feel any of these policies, or any University policy is being violated.

To upload and manage your web files, you will need to use your University EMail user name and password when connecting to the Student Web Page Manager. This system allows you to upload files you have created elsewhere or to delete files you have previously uploaded.
