Hardware Support

Technical Services fulfills the on-going service, support, and upgrade needs of university owned, and supported, computer equipment. We also provide the in-warranty support and upgrade services for all systems purchased through USM's Campus Computer Store.

Our service center has also acheived A+ rating by the Computer Technology Industry Association.

For services provided outside of warranty, we charge an hourly rate of $65, with a one hour minimum. In addition to this "time and materials" approach, we also provide university departments the option of acquiring service contracts, or extended warranties, on their equipment. These allow a department to budget a known support expense over the entire fiscal year, and cover any equipment failures as well as routine services such as cleanings.
