Services

Web Development

We can take your department's web site from idea to realization. We have web support specialists to meet with you and design, construct, and deploy your web site.

Database Development

If you need to make an internal database available on the web, we have the tools and the experience. We can take your MS Access or other data files and create a web based browser, or even an entire web based application from your data. We work primarily in Oracle and Java (JSP), but we also have experience with Microsoft SQL Server and other technologies.

Software Development

Have special needs? We can create custom software solutions for you. Integrated with current and future University information systems, or stand-alone applications. Again most of our work is Java-based for the best cross-platform and migration possibilities but have extensive experience with traditional desktop applications (C++, VisualBasic, Perl, etc.).

Web Hosting

We manage the University's main web server usm.maine.edu which contains the vast majority of USM departments, faculty, and staff web sites. In addition we manage the Student web server, students.usm.maine.edu for any USM student to use. And we also manage several other servers for web and application deployment.
