Holiday generosity has been demonstrated this month by USM staff and faculty responding to requests for assistance to neighbors in greater Portland served by our community partners at Parkside Neighborhood Center and Preble Street.

STRIVE ROCKS!
Our good community partners at STRIVE (whose services in support of youth and young adults with developmental disabilities include STRIVE U, a partnership with USM) are expanding their annual fundraiser to include BOTH the popular STRIVERocks all night Dance Marathon March 2nd (9pm-9am) AND a “Dance Day” event for younger children and families on Sunday, March 3rd from 10-6pm. There are many volunteer opportunities to support these events: Shifts are available from 9pm-9am on Saturday March 2nd into March 3rd, and from 10am-6pm on Sunday March 3rd. 2013 USM DAY OF SERVICE!
