Thank you to students, professors, and community partners for sharing the outstanding number and quality of community engaged projects that are taking place here at USM. January is National Mentoring Month!
Recruitment for Spring 2013 mentors and tutors is under way! Mentoring has demonstrated results in increased academic performance and aspirations for middle and high school students. Tutoring and homework support in after school programs supports the college aspirations of elementary, middle, and high school students in school and community based programs five days a week.
