Civic Matters

3rd Annual Civic Matters Symposium of Community Based Projects and Research

Friday November 18, 201, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Wishcamper Center, USM Portland campus

Civic Matters celebrates community-engaged work across USM that enriches student learning and addresses community-identified needs.  Through this work, students gain greater engagement, academic success, and civic learning.

For USM and our community partners, collaboration brings student intellect and energy to address immediate needs, and creates rich opportunities to tackle problems that neither could solve alone.  Collaborative poster and oral presentations from students, faculty and community partners showcase this work.
