Alumni shine in 2012 elections

Posted November 9, 2012

Congratulations to our Muskie School alumni who were recently elected- or re-elected- to public office! From state legislature to city and town council, these public servants embody the school’s dedication to community and mission to inform public policy and practice.

  • Kenneth W. Fredette (R), House District 25
  • Mary P. Nelson (D), House 112
  • Kim Monaghan-Derrig (D), House 121
  • Andrew McLean (D), House 129
  • Kevin Donoghue, Portland City Council

And continued thanks to Portland Mayor Michael Brennan, an alumnus of Muskie’s Public Policy and Management program, as well as Kate Arno, town councilwoman for the town of Freeport!
