John Ricci Fellowship
Applications are now being accepted for the 2013 Professor Emeritus John Ricci Undergraduate Fellowships established by Dr. Raymond Stevens (USM '86). This is a unique opportunity for USM undergraduates to pursue research at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA. USM course credit will be given; financial suport includes USM tuition, transportation and living expenses, and a stipend for the student and his/her faculty mentor. Fellowships are for 10 weeks during the summer, dates to be determined by mutual agreement between the successful applicant and Dr. Stevens.
Applicants should be an undergraduate science major with a strong record of scholarship, good academic standing, and demonstrated interest in scientific research. Full details here, and an application can be found here. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2013.
