LEARNING ENHANCEMENT GRANTS
At its March 2008 meeting, the Center for Teaching Advisory Board agreed to change the name and the focus of the former Community-Building Grants. As the title of this page suggests, the focus of the grant program is now explictly on enhancement of the learning experience for USM students. We believe this represents an appropriate complement to our Teaching Enhancement Grants, which focus on faculty development. At its May 2008 meeting, the Advisory Board reviewed thirteen Learning Enhancement Grant proposals and agreed to award funds to all applicants.
