"Technology as a tool to learning" . . . . How the K-12 classroom can translate this theory into practice is the focus of this course. With primary emphasis on integrating technology into the curriculum, this course provides a hands-on approach to develop and practice strategies for using Word, PowerPoint, digital cameras, and a variety of internet resources to promote learning and understanding. The course will also explore how technology has and is still changing the traditional student/teacher role, how to meet the challenge of keeping up with technology, and how to transform teaching and learning by using technology tools. (This course will be held at the Longfellow School, Brunswick, Maine)
