CEHD Diversity Plan (2003-2006)

This 2003-2006 Diversity Plan was a turning point for the College of Education and Human Development. With it, the College had a new, bold, and clearly-focused initiative articulated in a plan.

Aware of the changing demographics in southern Maine and the growing influx of immigrant populations from all regions of the world, CEHD has recognized its responsibility to be responsive to regional and community needs.   The College, therefore, initiated the 2003-2006 Diversity Plan, a public, comprehensive statement focusing on its commitments and goals regarding diversity.

The course is funded in part by the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.
