Registration Instructions

Registration instructions for FALL 2008!

1. Go to “MaineStreet”

Go to the USM homepage (http://www.usm.maine.edu) and click on "Current Students" under the green "Sites For" bar. Once you're in the Current Students page, click on "Login to Mainestreet” (http://usm.maine.edu/erp/).
Once at the MaineStreet homepage, login using the SignOn box at the top left.

2. Log in to MaineStreet

If you’ve never logged into MaineStreet or don’t know what your ID and password are, review the PDF “Student FAQ” (link, using URL below)

Direct link to the Student FAQ: http://www.maine.edu/pdf/StudentFAQJan08.pdf

3. Once in MaineStreet, you can register using the "Student Self-Service" link on the left-side menu.

For a step-by-step instruction booklet log in to MaineStreet and click on "Links to all Student Self-Service training guides"

The direct link to the PDF on how to enroll.
http://www.maine.edu/pdf/Enroll-AddDropSwap-032508_PD.pdf

This detailed guide leads you step-by-step through the process with “screen shots” of the different steps along the way when registering.

4. You can add, drop, or “swap” a class. Swap a class is a unique feature that allows you to “swap” a class without having to drop it first before adding a new section (crucial if the class is popular, like EDU 600).

5. Once you are finished with registration, click the “Finish Enrolling” button. You can then view your class schedule.
