Welcome to the Counselor Education program's web site for obtaining information on practicum and internship courses. The counseling faculty believe that these courses are among the most important experiences in our graduate programs. Every effort will be made to enable students to have a range of experiences that will enhance their personal and career development.

Students are required to complete an application at least one semester prior to the semester in which they intend to take these courses. The specific deadline dates are:

  • November 15 to enroll for the fall semester
  • September 1 to enroll for the spring semester
  • October 1 to enroll for the summer

Comments about these web pages are encouraged so that these experiences can be more valuable to students, faculty and supporting agencies and schools. Please send your comments directly to the Program Coordinator.

Note: Program faculty reserves the right to change any of the terms of the handbooks in any section at any time.
